  Miranda Sings is just an internet character created in 2008 and portrayed by American comedian,actress and singer  Colleen Ballinger In the videos she sings and dances badly, gives inept tutorials,recounts her daily activities,discusses her current events that she often misunderstands,collaborates with other YouTubers and rant about her critics,read examples of hate mail. And she responds them with her catchphrase 'Haters Back Off'. 

  As of January 2015, the Miranda sings channel surpassed 400 million views and 3.5 million subscribers. And she had been ranked the 7th 'most popular' YouTube personality by Daily American and the channel was ranked No.38 of all time by NewMediaRockstars. 

  Beginning in 2009, in addition to her internet videos, Ballinger has regularly performed live comedy acts in character as Miranda Sings, at cabaret spaces and theaters in New York,London and other cities in the UK,Canada, Australia and elsewhere. Her delivery is full of malapropisms and spoonerisms, and the acts often incorporate giving a 'voice lesson' to or singing a duet with  Broadway or other musical celebrities, reading hate mail, interaction with audience volunteers, and singing while being stabbed through the neck in her 'magic trick'. The character has appeared in web series, in radio and internet interviews, and in an episode of Victorious.

  In 2014, Ballinger was nominated for a Teen choice award for her performance as Miranda Sings

dear diary

Dear diary,

    Today I feel happy and sad like I feel them both at the same time. I know I have lots and lots of fans, and I love them all but I have to tell them all a very serious thing which I don't exactly know how to tell them. So I thought of making a video and posting it, so that everyone will know about it. O wait, I didn't even tell you what the serious thing is which everyone should know. 

     Well the serious thing is that I am an author now, it was a pretty hard decision to make but still. And wait my fist book's name is 'Selp-Helf', and I really hope people will support me through this and like the book:')

      Ayee i'm back, and I just finished the video it was pretty hard, but i will still make videos further on. It's not that i'm quitting youtube forever.  I will not disappoint all my fans, Well to be honest they're more like family to me now. An d I want to support them all, and so now I feel like I can be more closer to them by writing books and making youtube videos. Well, I am happy with the decision i made and i really hope that my fans would like the decision i made too. I just love them all. K I gtg bye.
